The Dark Album Release Party

Well, it's been a whirlwind few weeks with the build up to the album launch, trips to Berlin and Amsterdam. Now I am back in Brighton and last Friday (28/10) was the official THE DARK ALBUM release party at Rialto Theatre in conjunction with local promoters RAVE CITY LIVE.

Rialto Theatre at Halloween is the perfect venue for the album release, a 1920s style gothic theatre in the heart of Brighton. The upstairs theatre space is dark and intimate, a simple layout that puts the music and performance first. Make-up artist and DJ, Cloud, created a look for me based around, "Gold Star", which also encompassed a Cyberdog fluorescent hoody that I am particularly in love with at the moment.

Being Halloween I was also supported by a Dragon (see photo), although the Dragon did not go on stage with me. Also Red Bull were great and provided free promotional Red Bull for attendees (thank you Cece). Plenty of friends and loved ones were on hand and the first performance of THE DARK ALBUM was complete. The entire show was professionally recorded so watch this space.

The feedback was a delight, with some lovely comments about the depth of the work and the healing vibes of the music. I also sold some THE DARK ALBUM merchandise which felt great that new fans were feeling inspired in this way. I'm really looking forward to sharing the full 45 minute recording soon, probably though my YouTube channel.
